My first encounter with Mr. Johnson-Williams, was way back in 1995/1996. I had the opportunity to attend the Youth for Christ Camp in Freetown, Sierra Leone. He was one of our camp leaders was actively involved in music, teaching
and counseling. He was a great mentor and since then, he has made an impact in my life. His style of playing the trumpet was unique and we all referred to him as "Bonnie the Trumpeter". Keep it up. God bless you.

From: Burtons (Mon 7th Mar 2011 at 23:09)
Dear Bonnie
Thank you very much indeed for making your version of Take 5 available for
trumpet. My son Moses is 9 years old and is working on grade 5 trumpet. He heard you play it and asked for me to get the music. We will put him on You tube when he's learnt it!!
Could you tell us where you got the backing music?
Yours gratefully, the Burtons in Chester UK

Bonnie,

I came to know you through my son Jeffrey during your camp at AWMS about 18 or more years ago. When he returned home, he never stopped talking about how much you know music, since then I wanted to meet and know you, when I finally met and knew you, I became interested in everything you did and showed it by the little support I had then, because I knew you would do well in life.

You have not disappointed me.I am blessed to have you as my friend.

Keep pressing on!
