With almost 15years of teaching music, Bonnie has done it all - from the nursery to tertiary institutions. He has been involved with music education in both formal (schools, colleges) and informal (recreational centers, camps, disadvantaged communities, churches) settings.
As a multi-talented instrumentalist, his approach to music education leaves a lasting impression in the lives of his students. He is an inspiration to many youngsters and he has a gift of making music fun and simple for learners.

As Head of Music at the Saint Joseph’s Secondary School, Freetown (1998-2001), he raised the standard of music education and worked uncompromisingly with the school’s brass band, making them the best female brass band in the country.
After graduating from the Royal Academy in Glasgow, Bonnie was disappointed that the Scottish Government withdrew their funding from the Arts (Music) and as a result, schools could not offer him a teaching position.

He then moved to England where he worked as a Lecturer in North Hertfordshire College (BTECH Music Diploma). He also worked part time in various schools in and out of London as a Supply Music Teacher and was very disappointed at the standard of music education.
It was during this period that he received an offer for the position of Music Teacher at The British School in Al-Rehab, Cairo (Egypt).
